Description
Donated by philanthropist, adventurer, author, and human rights advocate Christine Amour-Levar, this distinctive Elvis & Kresse tote reflects her belief that business can be a powerful force for positive change.
Christine discovered Elvis & Kresse through the Cartier Women’s Initiative, where she met co-founder Kresse Wesling while serving as a jury member. She was inspired by the brand’s philosophy of “rescue, transform, donate” and its commitment to giving discarded materials a meaningful new life.
This unique tote is crafted from decommissioned fire hose and lined with rescued cotton from Burberry Mills, transforming materials that might otherwise have been discarded into a beautifully designed, purposeful piece.
For Christine, the bag represents more than sustainable design. It is a reminder that our experience, influence, and opportunities can be used not only to achieve success, but also to create meaningful and lasting impact for others.
